Yes, this testing will go until release, no worries.
Thanks!

Re: water effect with sensors
This can certainly be done with shaders, I would guess that Glare can help you here.

Re: Ventuz remoting libraries - licensing and redistribution
Hoi,
The licensing terms generally are covered by the EULA. The remoting libraries alone are freely distributable, but you have to ensure the versions match the corresponding Ventuz version. For more information or questions, please contact us directly.
Cheers,
Erik

Re: Move Animation Keyframes from one timeline to another
Sorry, not possible! That has been on our to-do list since, oh, 2006 I think. Aaaaany day now.
Quick workaround: animate the control property of the one you want to copy the animation from in the new animation node.

Re: When get we a working 3D importer back?
Hoi,
to reiterate Dennis' point... if you run across 3D models that do not work in Ventuz, but do work elsewhere, let us know and if possible send us the model so we can identify the problem (and hopefully fix it).
As to importing animations, we will definitely get to it but don't have an ETA yet.

Re: Animate property within layer1 with an animation in laye
Main animation is the easiest, of course. You also can expose out and back in, connecting the layers. Or you can go over the scene data. The only thing is that with the latter two, you need to use a variable node connected to the animation node so that you have the expose/binding capability. Or or a...

Re: How to center a group of text
Not entirely sure what you are trying to achieve, but my guess would be what you are looking for is to use an Arrange Node with Alignment X set to CenterChain placed in front of all the text nodes. To get the placing exactly right, you may want to play with setting the bounding boxes of the text ele...

Re: Ventuz 5... My experience
Hey, just my $0.02 - So we are getting complaints from a handful of Ventuz power users that v5 is slower to use than v4. And frankly, it's true for many of you. If you know all the shortcuts, dream of Ventuz at night and are used to hammering out a million nodes a second, then V5 is not nearly as st...
