Stereoscopy issue
Hi V-Team! It seems to me (although it's the first real 3D project I'm doing) that the view for both eyes are rendered on the left eye / left side of the screen. The right side is always empty and if I increase the Frustum shift value I see two objects on the left side (but still nothing on the righ...

.NET remoting newbie
Hi guru's! I'm trying to work out this .NET remoting stuff and since C# is almost like rocket science to me, I would like to see if anyone out there has a simple example to share. The outline is this; I'd like to connect to a running scene, set an externalised String to a value and Invoke an externa...

Re: RSS Feed dual entries
That simple, huh!?
Should've tested that of course, guess the hour was too late to think straight.
Thanks!

RSS Feed dual entries
Anyone to point me in the right direction to why my RSS crawl displays every item twice? The little hair on my head is turning grey(er) over this! In production this scene will not be online, so I have to connect the RSS to a locally stored file, the attached scene, however, has a online URL. Scene ...

Re: [Q]CLI Remote? Receive TCP/IP commands.
In a thread from the old forum, Karol has posted a TCP Server, which also could come in handy for this purpose:

I've modified it a little bit and use it succesfully with broadcast automations systems.
Good luck!

Alpha Node for Hierarchy
An alpha node like the Alpha TextEffect but for a total hierarchy would be much appreciated!
For direction one would need to specify angle rather than Near To Far. That would save us a lot of time and render targets if we need to "wipe" on graphical elements along with text.

Re: Relay closure/button press. - Hardware
Hi Peter,
I'd suggest a presentation remote of som kind, they are ussually sending keyboard commands or single letters.
Kensington has a load of them:

Re: dnxhd alpha
Karol, I'm sure I've used DNxHD codec with alpha before, however it was on my 32-bit system (that I no longer have available). And I'm not entierly sure, but I think it was under the Quicktime node I used it... sorry for the bad info! Maybe we have to be sure we have the same version of the Codec-pa...

Re: dnxhd alpha
I have done this a lot before, not using QuickTime Pro though. I've made DNxHD clips with After Effects with the attached settings and played them in Ventuz with alpha. However, I tried a clip just now and it seems to ignore the alphachannel. I brought the file into after-effects again to verify tha...
