JSON read issue
Hello, I am having an issue that is probably not Ventuz specific but I wondered if you had any ideas to avoid it. An external application is writing a JSON file, that I am reading into a Ventuz JSON node via a Text File node. Quite often I get the error "Failed to read Text File: The process ca...

XML and ASYNC help needed
Morning Ventuz world, I am creating a very busy scoreboard for an event which contains around 450 2D text items and 450 colour nodes all fed from an XML. I have containerised into smaller groups for ease of management and to make use of interfacing. All XML nodes have auto update and ASYNC enabled. ...

Licensing question . . .
Hi, I am involved in discussions for a project next year which would involve around 15 separate locations running graphics simultaneously, probably with key/fill functionality. I am suggesting Ventuz, as it fits the brief perfectly. However, the cost of purchasing so many licenses for a one-off even...

Splitting Widesceen into Strips
Hello helpful people. I am making a project that will be shown on LED banner screens (like those around a football pitch). The total resolution is 5760 x 64 pixels. What I would like to do is split this into 3 parts and have them stacked on a single 1920x1080 output. I have tried using various combi...

Re: Using image with alpha for buttons
Thanks for the reply Chris. What I'm trying to do (in case you can see another way of doing it) is have a 3D map of Europe (ideally the world!), where the user can click on individual countries to launch events. When I took the brief, I thought it sounded fairly straightforward, but now . . . :? Paul

Using image with alpha for buttons
Hi all,
I am trying to work out a way to use an image file with an alpha as a button, that only triggers when you click on a visible (non-alpha) pixel. Is this possible?
Any help gratefully received!
Many thanks
Paul
