Re: Font looks different in Ventuz compare to photoshop

Just throwing my five cents in here as well. Why did you convert the original OTF font to a TTF? I am having issues sometimes with online converters as well - just as lerou. Do the OTF files not work in Ventuz?

Re: Extrude geometry from Layers IPP Effects

Do you mean exclude by any chance? Yes, you can. Simply move the effects from the layer level inside it. Use the Effect FX node inside your hierarchy. This let's you control where you want to use effects specifically.

Re: Bugs _2

I had the same problem when going from PreAlpha3 to Beta1. That was actually my first post.

The problem is the project file. Simply create a new, empty project. That's what solved it for me.

Re: FFmpeg audio recording

You can run the ffmpeg application from within a script by opening an invisible command prompt. It's actually only a few lines. When I did that I used to encode a movie while Ventuz is running. But I did not create a separate thread so Ventuz froze for a short time. Didn't matter for me back then. I...

Re: Ventuz Particles

How about posting some of the Pre-Alpha scenes? They were quite helpful and also cool.

Re: Property Editor is limited in Layout Docking Manager

Yes. Seems like my PreAlpha3 test project has completely broken layouts and the main window buttons don't work properly. I cannot use that one anymore. New projects are not an issue and another older V5 project works as well. So it was related to an Alpha project. Sorry for the wasted time.

It can only be placed at the top, bottom, left or right side of the screen it full height of width. See attached screenshot. The new layout and features of the PE howe...

Re: Dongle serial number

You can get all the current licensing information including dongle ID using the Ventuz License Manager. There is a shortcut in the Ventuz Technology start menu folder At the bottom left of the license manager is a button which copies all licensing information to the clipboard. You can then paste tha...

Re: A lot of data (using excel)

You could read from the Excel file yourself from within a C# node. I think if you use async file reading and parsing operations it should be possible to avoid the spikes you encounter. Maybe this helps: https://coderwall.com/p/app3ya/read-excel-file-in-c
