Re: Value Switch
Hey Joe, you need to bind this to the color property of a Color Value Node. Use Source Binding for that - Drag an Input Property of the Value Switch, Hover over the Color Value Node until the Property Editor jumps to the Color Value's Properties and bind it to the Input Color Property. You have boun...

Re: chagne project data from c# script
Hi dekacko, there are two steps in order to accomplish that. 1. Create and initiate a cluster object of your local machine. using Ventuz.Remoting4; using System.Net; //... private Cluster cluster = null; //this can be called e.g. by a Method on the Script Node private void ConnectToLocalMachine() { ...

Re: OSC output nodes not copying
Hi Robert, this behavior is not specific for the OSC Output Node. Whenever you copy a Node to the Clipboard, all of the Nodes that are bound to one of its Inputs are copied with it. This is done to ensure the same behavior of the copied Node. Nodes that are bound to one of the Outputs generally do n...

Re: Multiple Videos inside a sphere
Hi Peter, Probably this will help you: The first texture stage can use the default Alpha Operation. Every other Stage (second, third, etc.) needs to use an Addition (Linear Dodge) for the Alpha. Also you might want to use the Overwrite Operation for the Color to occlude texture stages below the curr...

Hey Eric,
since V5.2 we support this as long as you are working on your Layers in the Hierarchy Editor. Switch between the Editors with the Options of the Hierarchy or Layer Editor:

Re: Blending operation across nodes - Linear Dodge (Add)
Hi Greg, then first welcome to Ventuz! There are two ways to accomplish that, depending on how you want to blend: 1. Blend inside the same Layer: Use the Blending Node (it is placed in the Render Options Category). It will be applied to all following objects in the Hierarchy and change their blendin...

Re: How to connect C4D with ventuz5.
Hey,
yes, you need to install a plug-in for Cinema4D. You can find a setup in the Installation Folder of Ventuz, it's called Cinema4dPluginInstaller.exe. After running that you can restart Cinema4D and you should be able to see the tags.
Best,
Stephen

Re: Layer element selection
Hey rou, also thanks for this one! First did you try to click a layer with your middle mouse button? This should also work with Hierarchy Containers. :D Second Ctrl+Q in the Hierarchy selects all siblings of the currently selected node. What would be selected in the Layer Editor, as there are no sib...
