Hi,
I noticed that V7 render to disk fails to render into QT Animation format. Even in the empty/clean scene. V6 works correctly, so it is probably not a codecs issue on my side.

Sure thing.
I attached V6 scene, where the shadow is being turned off and on again in loop. If you open it in V7, the shadow is on, all the time. Let me know if you see the same issue. I hope this helps.

Cast Shadow cant be turned off
Hi,
in V6 we were able to turn off shadows in material. Now in V7 it seems like Cast and Receive option in shadows on Material is not working at all.

I just opened one of my older scenes in V6 and the horror!! Colored subnodes, as you can see these triangles, makes the hierarchy content absolutely unreadable. Its a good thinking, but wrong way! Have you considered 50% darker for subnodes instead of these triangles that makes mess out of everythin...
