Re: Scene layers and Scene Datas
Thanks sandercox, I was able to get the list of loaded Scenes using the Scenes command on the Cluster object. It's then a matter of finding the scene (by name) and storing the IID. I will have to take a look at the Scene Tree approach also, it was mentioned in another post and it might be more accur...

Re: Scene layers and Scene Datas
With Remoting4, how do I address the scene loaded in the Scene Layer Greg describes? I basically need its IID. I usually get the IID of a scene from the Load command...

Resizing textures / mipmaps
Hello, Is there any way to control how Ventuz handles textures that are being stretched/shrunk when mapped onto a rectangle? For example, we have a 100x100 logo that we would like to use on a 400x400 and 50x50 rectangle. The logo will not look good on either, especially the 400x400 rectangle. If we ...

Re: Check compatibility to V5.X option
Even though I had "Check compatibility to 5.2" checked, I didn't receive any warning and the scene doesn't open in 5.2. I get the attached "Couldn't create or open scene. Type 'Ventuz.Kernel.Layers.LayerCameraDefinition' not found! Your scene was saved with a newer version: 5.3.0.112&...

Check compatibility to V5.X option
When using the "Check compatibility to V5.X" option in the Scene > Load/Save Options menu, how are we notified about the outcome of the compatibility check? Does a message appear only when a scene is not compatible? There isn't much information about this in the documentation.

Re: Renaming Font Preset
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work. It finds the values but doesn't replace them. I can click Replace All again and the same number of matches is reported again.

Re: Renaming Font Preset
That simply creates a new Preset, it doesn't update the name of an existing Preset, which is what we are trying to do. For example if I've been using a Preset called "My Font" in my project and all my text uses that Preset, if I want to rename "My Font" to "Standard Font&quo...

Renaming Font Preset
In Ventuz we can create and edit Font Presets and then edit the Preset to use a different font and all text using that Preset changes accordingly. This is great, but the Font Presets were originally named for the font type they were using i.e. "Arial Black". This can cause confusion when t...

Re: Font problems migrating to Ventuz 5
Thanks Chris, I should RTFM! We are not opposed to adjusting our scenes for V5 if that needs to be done, we should be working with V5 at this point!
