Re: Runtimes Not Cueing/Taking after Win 8.1 --> Win 10 Upgr
I did battle all day at the client site to no avail. I performed "fresh" installs of Ventuz on all three machines (renaming the legacy Ventuz5 folder under C:\Users\Public Documents\ to BACKUPVentuz5 after the uninstall process leaving a "clean" Ventuz5 folder after reinstall and...

Re: Crash on Start-up after Update
UPDATE: Finally got it working. Info below for anyone who upgrades to Windows 10 Anniversary Ed. and has issues. Besides Ventuz 5 not working, I also had errors when launching Cinema4D R17... Windows gave me a qtguiagent.exe error that stated, MSVCR120.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or...

Re: Crash on Start-up after Update
Windows decided to do the Anniversary Update today, and after the update Ventuz5 no longer works. I uninstalled and reinstalled (latest Ventuz5 version as of today), but still cannot launch. I have attached a screenshot of the error dialog box when trying to launch Ventuz 5. Ventuz4 still works fine...

Re: Finding dimensions of dynamic list
Hey Paul, Not sure if your text items are separate text boxes or a single text box. If they are contained within a single text box, set the bounding box to Dynamic . You can then use the output height to calculate speed and plug a mover into it and then fire off the next event when it scrolls off sc...

Bumpmap/Displacement Map using TouchPaint
I am playing around with the TouchPaint node and I am trying to come up with a specific effect where I'd like the TouchPaint node to create Black & White values that I can use to displace a texture to make it look as if you are drawing in the sand (using a sand texture) as a bump map. I have tri...

Re: Refreshing a Variable when Using Scene Port & Case Switc
Thanks for that Christian. I took a look and have since amended my Master Scene file, as well as adding another background vis scene and a couple Info scenes. As this is an exercise for me to learn Ventuz, I made it a point to use certain nodes in the project so I can get more familiar with their us...

Re: Refreshing a Variable when Using Scene Port & Case Switc
Thanks for the feedback Christian, I appreciate it. Did you happen to open the Music_Master-02 scene? This was my attempt at solving the issue while trying to keep the case switching of the scenes intact (as this was my own exercise in learning how to import scenes). When I came up with my solution ...
