Re: Ventuz.Remoting4

Hi, If the animation is read-only you probably forgot to uncheck the DataItem as part of the Scene template. See Scene Data Editor. We're currently working on some example codes. The Remoting4 is very powerful and reflects the entire capabilities of Ventuz in handling scenes, ports and the related d...

Re: Ventuz.Remoting4

... btw, this example requires a running Ventuz Runtime or Ventuz Designer that already has loaded the required scene!

Re: Ventuz.Remoting4

Hi! If you like to control an animation that is part of the scene data make sure that this animation is not marked as a DataItem for the scene template. Simply remove the check mark in the Scene Data Editor. When done, you can send control strings to the path the data item that represented the requi...

Re: Project data control and improvement

Hi Robert, some of you suggestions are already in our wish-list - thanks for that! Editing the project data on-the-fly is technically not possible since all scenes in memory (also the scene loaded by scene ports and loaded via remoting and/or template engine) are wired to the (global) project data s...

Re: Remoting 4

Ho Florian. There's no need to have the start() method as an async action since it only enables the cluster. As soon a cluster is started it tries to establish the connections to all machines within this cluster. You have to listen to the ClusterStateChanged event to recognize that a the cluster is ...

Re: Project Properties

HI,

most of the hardware related setting have been moved to the AV Config - found in the new Ventuz Configuration Editor. If you run Ventuz in DX output mode, you'll find these well known options in the output stream properties.

Re: Look anf feel of the new gui

Hi Thomas,

there's only the choice between dark and light.
Ventuz Director is always dark.

Hi Robert,

this problem is probably fixed with version 3.08.00. Try it!

Re: vpr config with win7 64 bit german

Hi, we cannot reproduce this here. (Win7x64 german) Anybody else who has the same problem? The registry entry responsible for the "Config" verb is HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Ventuz.Presentation.3\Shell\Config . It should look like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Ventuz...

Re: Stereoscopy issue

Hi Sam, the 3D stereo implementation is still very experimental - so you discovered a bug. To work around this, simply insert a ViewPort node as the most top item in your scene - that should fix the issue. (don't forget the set the background alpha of that ViewPort to zero if you use keying) There a...
