Re: 3D Paths

For everyone who is interested, I uploaded some samples extracted from Cinema 4D One is a Helix with 100 Points, the other one a simple arc. Also added one manually modified example with only three points and no tangents @Ventuz Team: Are there any plans to implement this as an interactive input for...

Re: Path geo renderer

Hi joschy, Maybe you already solved the issue... Anyways: I played around with the file you uploaded. It looks like the importer only interprets as single points if your path doesn't contain Bezier Points but only corner points as in your case. Try adding at least one Bezier point into the path and ...

3D Paths

Hi Ventuz Team, First of all - amazing work with the new version. I only had a little time to test it out until now but already saw so many functions that we were looking for so long :) Just looking at the integrated particle system - awesome! I see that the documentation is still in progress, under...

Content containers in a repository can't be updated

Hi, I just ran into a problem which concerns updating content containers in a project repository. Using hierarchy containers works fine as always. But the problem is with content containers: You can create new entries in the repository and reference them in your scenes. But you can't update the repo...

Re: Updating Repository Objects in Ventuz 5

I think this might be an actual bug in this version, I just ran into it myself. I'll post that one in the bug section as well since this is quite a problem for logic nodes... Hierarchy containers are working just fine. Problem is with content containers: You can create new entries in the repository ...

HLSL Vertex Textures in V5

Hi, I was wondering how to use vertex textures in HLSL shaders in V5... In V4 you were able to define the texture stage as Vertex1 or Vertex2. Was this changed to the displacement map stage (would make most sense)? I tried with this code snippet, but it looks like the texture isn't sampled at all (n...

Re: Images don't show up when running Ventuz Presentation

Also check your image paths in the presentation. If using relative paths these refer to the position the presentation file is started in (or its working directory). If the images are not in this file structure they will not be found. If you are constructing dynamic paths in your scene, make sure to ...

Re: Connected Lines in Ventuz

I encountered this task several times already - unfortunately there's no out-of-the box option that I'm aware of :( But there's a way to achieve this using some math skills (in case of 2D Graphics, 3D will follow the same principle - the math behind is just more complex): - if you have the absolute ...
