Director - Combine 2 scenes into one template?

Is it possible to combine 2 scenes into one template in Director?
For example I have a lower 3rd graphic that is one scene, and I want to place a separate live bug scene on air with the lower 3rd.
I understand how to set up one scene with both in it and have them independently controlled with in the same scene.
But it would be great if I could place a separate Bug scene into a lower 3rd scene.
