Don't know if it is a bug, but using a color difference keyer in a layer will kill alpha of an object inside the layer.

Confirmed.. and i dont know if it is possible BUT i forwarded it and filed a case
imo it should be possible to have the correct alpha...

Hey i just checked it again with the official release...
it works for me.
as long as you supply a greenscreen movieclip
must been my mistake i was just throwing in a color difference keyer but had no video whatsoever loaded,... in this case the alpha is "white".
as soon as you use any kind of greenscreen material/movie/picture and adjust the CDK correctly, you will have a correct alpha:
