Create linked content in another hierarchy container.

As shown in the image i would like to create a linked reference of "unten links" INTO the "oben" hierarchy container.
tried all "move while holding" commands, even tried "ctrl+shift+v" to paste, but that seems not to do anything apart from
freezing ventuz for some seconds. isn't that simple task not possible after all?

hi flabo

it seems you are trying to connect apples with oranges ;)....this is not possible.

if you want to archiece, that you have to axes with the same value you can use get world and set world but with 1 frame delay! or you bind all INPUT properties of both axis with no delay!

well i tried to move the linked instance INTO the "oben" container to keep things well organized.
somehow i do not understand WHY this is not possible. why has the reference to be in the same hierachy?
If it is just a copy of something already created in the memory it should be no problem to access this
copy from other containers as well?

Hey,
try this: select your axis "unten links", press strg+c.
Enter your hierachy container "oben", select the "content" window (not the hierachy window), press strg+v.
You should see now your axis as an unlinked Item in the hierachy window.
Not sure if this is what you are trying to do?

Cheers
Tobi

hi and thanks for your advice, but that way i just get a "copy" of my "oben links" axis.
i just want to have a linked reference of it. just like dragging "oben links" in the hierachy with the right mouse button
and selecting "link here". the only difference is that i want to have this linked reference INSIDE another hierachy container
(it just has to be there i dont need any specialy new input bindings or stuff...)

cheers, stefan
