does ventuz utilize or take advantage of duel cpu systems?

looking at duel xeon vs single xeon systems with w8000 and w7000 ati cards respectably

Hi!

Ventuz uses in most cases only one core for the validation and rendering process.
BUT... if you display videos all cores are available and utilized if needed by FFMpeg to decode the video streams.
Loading and validating scenes in background via the ScenePort node or Ventuz Remoting is multi-threaded as well.
The creation of some font resources uses all available cores.
So our recommendation is to go with a multi-core system (it doesn't matter if these cores are on separated CPUs).
