Touch Paint - Custom brushes have dark edges

Hello!

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended behaviour (i hope not)

I want to use custom brush textures with the Touch Paint Node, but when I uncheck the Additive property the edges are dark. When Additive is checked, the color gets more white with every paint layer, so that does not help me either.

I tried to make textures that have either opaque or transparent pixels like these 2 ones on the left, but the result is the same. These textures are saved as PNG by the way.

Here is an example of what a yellow brush looks like with different textures.

ps.: I added an example scene with texture

You probably would need to set the "Hint -> Alpha .. to Preserve":

Thanks Dee, that reduces the dark glow, but it still has a weird behaviour if you cross previous lines, especially if they have a different color.
And a dark glow is still present. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

These cross shapes appear at the intersection of different lines, even if they are the same color.

Yep! confirmed...

Happens as soon as you use a Texture for the TouchPaint.
I created a Ticket for it and lets hope its fixed in the 5.3.1 release (i can not promise).

Sorry and Thanks
