VR without Steam?

VR without Steam?

I wish it would be possible to use VR in Ventuz without Steam.
The recently introduced bug/feature that disables the Vive controllers (as of 23.1.2018) has shown me that it is dangerous to rely on systems that are updated automatically.

This bug has completely stalled a new project for us. I'm currently investigating using Unity instead to delivery my prototype.
