Cinema 4d Link importing issue

I tried this with cienma 17 and 18.
i have a group of objects that i want to see in ventuz. The moment i link them in ventuz, I only get the last geometry on my c4d hierarchy. even if i reduced my objects to Two objects, i only get to seee the last object.
Whenver i recreate some other scene with just cubes or spheres, all objects get correctly imported.
any idea?
