Hi there,
if you Press "F1" or use the "?" in the upper right corner of Ventuz, you can open the MANUAL
use this function a lot and you will find informations like this:

Dennis will be able to confirm but we are under the understanding that there is a known bug and to get cameras and animations to import you have to import via Ventuz 4 at the moment because of a broken import process, see this forum post:ahmedahmed1223 wrote:Hi there,

Ventuz can you let us know when this will be fixed?

Hello,
again, Cameras, Lights and Animations can NOT be IMPORTED.
This is not a Bug!
The only aviable option to get animations into V5 is either to use baked animations or to use the workaround with V5.
To get animations into V5 you can use V4 which is still downloadable from our webpage and your V5 DONGLES will work with V4 as well.
Like i mentioned already in other posts about the animation import directly into V5, we are working hard on it to bring it back.
I have NO timeframe nor anything else that i can tell you, sorry.
We will keep you updated if we managed to do it for sure
About Cameras, but this is just a tip and will only work WITH the CONSTANT C4D livelink active:
You can use a ventuz tag and just send the transformations for a null object, use that transformations for an axis and link a camera behind it.
Again: this will only least for the moment the livelink is active.
