Post by Samotar26 » 06 Nov 2016, 15:14

Hello,

i would appreciate help with this small thing as a newbie. Can someone please tell me how to make light visible? Like a spot light. I want to add a little light show to the project, but i cant figure out how to make light rays visible.

Thanks in advance.

hi,

depending on your needs, you could give crashzoom effect a try.

Hello, thanks for reply. Im looking for something completely basic. I cant buy anything right now. I want something like a basic light, like from a concert stage, and change its color. Just the very basics. Move it around a bit, like change the direction where its pointing.

I heard it should be possible with basic Ventuz without buying something. I was looking into it for few days and i was unlucky. I was close to solving it, but not enough.

The logner ill work i will be able to buy and learn with other effects. But for now i have to work as it is now.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Frantisek,

the crashzoom is a build in effect of V5 :)

no need to buy anything...

You could also use a cone to visualize the "lightray" in combination with a gradient texture mapped on the cone :) (old game development trick)
