blink animation effect using a ticker and arrange node

Hello all,

This might be a simple thing, yet I am struggling to think of a way to do this. I am using a ticker and arrange node to bring in some images scrolling from bottom to top as well as animate them coming in from the right and leaving from the left, the effect I am trying to achieve is to have blink kind of effect when they are coming in. and same goes when they are leaving. Thanks a lot for your help.
