How to IMPORT ANIMATION From fbx/dae model files

Hi all,

Ventuz 4 can import animation by importing DAE files.

The import model method in Ventuz 5 is using the Geometry Import node, but when importing the model, there is no option such as "import animation" for me to choose.

After imported the model, I can't get the animation info in Ventuz 5 which the model itself has the animation.

How to import the animation information from the outside model files?

Thanks a lot! : )

Eric

The User Manual said that
Although some of these formats store information about lights, cameras, animation and so forth, Ventuz only imports the geometric data, the geometric hierarchy, material properties and textures. Currently, Ventuz can only handle "Baked Animations".
Even though it shows that the Ventuz 5 can handle Baked Animations, but I still failed on importing baked animations.

Is there anyone can give me some help? Thanks.

Mmmhhh, the same here... my suggestion, load it in V4 - export a archive and then import it to V5. This works for me...
V4_TestShatter.vza
V4 base scene

V5_TestShatter.vza
V5 imported V4 base scene

TestShatter.zip
