Hello,

New Ventuz user here.

When starting a new project I get a black background canvas.

To create a new canvas (background) do I need to import from Photoshop ? Or can I use a jpeg or bitmap file ?

Start a new Project, a new Scene, press F1 and bring up the HelpSystem


Type in Background -- and thats a good starting point.

You should first learn how to access the manual, we provide you also with "Interactive Examples" if you hover over a Node and use "F1"


Generally you could use either PSD or any other kind of Image. Even DDS could be used as a Background.
You can also create your background out of a 3D Scene - Layering in this case.
