Curious if you can to display grouping in the razor/970 gpu.

As in doing external monitor and local with different content while running ventuz?

There is a 2016 update (6GB GPU RAM). But it's difficult to get this thing outside the US :/

Hi Daniel
thank you for your recommendation
unfortunately, this model got 14" inch display which seem a bit small .
im going to use this on a daily base as my workstation. so i'm looking for a 15.6 or higher display with UHD + touch.
from Ventuz P.O.V i guess the no-1 feature should be a strong GPU preffered to Nvidia
than comes the RAM & CPU. beside Razer, is there any other laptop from : Dell, Lenovo, Asus, ,HP, or Alianware that you might recommend?
Thanks!

The Razer has an external GPU box. So for a stationary setup you can actually put a 980Ti or a 1080 in there. The box (called Razer Core) also features a few USB 3 ports and an ehternet port. So it's a good combination of a powerful portable machine and an even more powerful stationary machine :)

Apart from that most notebooks with good GPUs are gaming laptooks that a) look ridiculous and b) don't have a touch screen.

Hi,

Just to let you know, right now we are starting certification of some laptops with Ventuz 5, mostly mobile workstations. So stay tuned for more information here or in our website during coming weeks.

Cheers,

Alienware Notebooks are also quite good and they have become smaller and lighter with the new generation.
Unfortunately they still have this blinky-blinky stuff going on, but the razor got that aswell so you have to live with it.
They also feature a graphics extension called "Graphics Amplifier" which is quite huge and not really "hand luggage sized". But a 980TI or 1080 fits inside.
They are available in 13, 15 and 17 inches. All available in Full HD, the bigger two also in 4k. The small one got an optional touch screen, die bigger ones don't =(.
