Buffer for other types than string

Hi,

this one would really be a big help! Something like the Buffer node, but for all other types (or a multi-value-node like the new multi switch):

Put in a float and on an event, pass the float to the output.

I talked about it with Erik at the ISE
A simple li-fo and li-lo buffer that handles objects with a customizable size would be perfect. All packed up in one data-queue node
Ventuz is very good at spreading and delivering data, however buffering data often requires a script.
