period doesnt inject in webrowser node

Hi everybody!
I have a urgent problem with the webnode. I´d like to inject a char, a period "." (ascii 46) into a form in the browser. All other chars work perfectly except the period. the browser doesn´t display it.
is there a workaround or is this bug known ?
we´re on ventuz 4 latest version.
