Cannot capture sound from SDI with Blackmagic via Ventuz

Hi,

we have a problem with capturing embedded sound from an input SDI signal via Ventuz.

We use a Blackmagic Decklink 4k Extreme to capture SDI signal. Video plays nicely in Ventuz, but for some reason we cannot get the embedded sound in Ventuz.

We tested the input signal by directly connecting it to an SDI monitor. Everything was fine there, so the input signal should be alright. Blackmagic appears to works fine as well, as we get the sound via their own tools. So Ventuz seems to be the only suspect now.

Where could the problem be? Any help or hint would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Generally this should work.
On which device you need play the sound?
You probably have to configure the Audio Cross Points and Mapping correctly: http://www.ventuz.com/support/help/late ... dioDevices
(this is the V5 help but there are no major changes for the AV Config)

Could you send us your AV Config? It's here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Ventuz4\Configuration\AVConfig
