We've got several workstations of the same type and restore them all from the same Image after each Job.
The Problem is: now the Config Editor can't distinguish between the Workstations and the selection in the upper right corner constantly jumps from one Machine to another which makes it impossible to create a config.
Of course this only happens when the machines are within the same network.
What kind of data/ID does Ventuz use to distinguish between the PCs? SID, MAC address, some kind of own ID?
I have tried changing some IDs and Names of the Workstations but without any success.
I have also tried to deinstalling Ventuz and installing it again.
Thanks for your help, Eric

Make Ventuz distinguish between PCs

Re: Make Ventuz distinguish between PCs
Hi Erik,
Ventuz uses a couple of ID's to distinguish. On some cloned machines this goes weird. So we added a Registry Key to "customize" the machines.
If you give:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ventuz Technology\Ventuz -> SystemID
a value (anything...an index, Erik007 etc...) the machines are unique.
