Hi all. Just bought a new Dell laptop and I'm getting this error when trying to install Ventuz. Anyone else see this? Any work arounds?

Hi!

Open a Command Window in the folder where the Ventuz installer is located (e.g. Shift + RightMouseButton -> 'Open Command Window here')
Type e.g Ventuz_Setup_V4.07.02_x64.exe /exelog log.txt
This tells the installer to log all steps during installation.

An alternative would be:
Ventuz_Setup_V4.07.02_x64.exe /extract
And then start the .msi file, this will also start the installer.

Which Ventuz version are you installing? On which OS?

Best Regards
Karol

Ok, that's not very informative! :(

Did you try to extract the installer content and run the MSI file manually?

Best Regards
Karol

Yes. Tried that. This is the error I get when extracting and running the install file manually.

Error 1001 Access to path 'C:\Program Files\Ventuz Technology Group\Ventuz 4\HelpInstaller.InstallState' is denied
