I know it's a crazy idea.
I've just plugged the Nvidia Shield Android TV to my 4K TV at 60fps.
For testing I attached also an IIyama 30" 1080p touchscreen monitor. It works like a charm.
The Tegra X1 has incredible power, I think that someone will create software for digital signage compatible with this system.
With 199€ we have a powerful pc that shows a gorgeous 4K output.
The first idea is:
a new Ventuz version that compiles a scene compatible with Tegra X1 graphics and Android TV.
or
a streaming system, as the Nvidia GameStream, that sends all Ventuz graphics to this device.
I think it's doable.

Re: Shield Android TV
Well... #1 is unlikely for the near future - we are DirectX and .NET, both of which are not Android-friendly.
#2 is, however, perfectly doable. We have done it with splashtop in the past, and that works well.
