SDI-Link

12 months ago Deltacast announced that the solution introduced at IBC 2011 for support of low-latency communication with GPU cards, was available as an official extension of the VideoMasterHD OEM SDK.

On their website it says...
"This first version of the SDK extension supports the AMD FirePro™ SDI-Link technology platform on Windows 7 64-bit. It is meant to quickly evolve and to address additional technologies, operating systems, and GPU vendors very soon...."

12 months on, it all seems to of gone very quiet on new board supporting that technology.

Does anyone know if this technology will be applied to cards like the W7000, 8000, 9000 in the future? The processing power of the current V7900 that is supported doesnt seem that great compared to current offerings.
