Re: Scene layers and Scene Datas
We have a scoreboard that is in use and controlled via its scene data. Now we want to make a squeeze back video with this scoreboard inside. In stead coping the scoreboard into the new Squeeze back scene, I would like to use the Scene layer to reference the scoreboard scene so that any future change...

Re: Setting Camera position and direction with 2 null objects
Huh...
Looks like I had my camera FOV Relation set to Layer
witched it back to None and like magic all the tracking started to work as expected.
Thanks for confirming that was the right way to do this.

Setting Camera position and direction with 2 null objects
I'm sure this is in Ventuz and I'm just not seeing it. I'm wanting to use 2 objects (really just their XYZ axis coordinates) to control a camera. One object would give the camera its XYZ world coordinates. Second object would inform the focal point the camera should be looking at. The Pan and Tilt w...

Re: Overlapping Alphas with out additive effect
Thank you, I had thought about the Layer option but really want to keep this in the 3D layer with all the other elements. For this particular use case it is gridlines for a table that are over lapping and as a whole they would like to be an 8% alpha, but the overlapping points are of coarse are stan...

Overlapping Alphas with out additive effect
Trying to learn how to have lets say 2 circles partially overlap and apply a 50% alpha to them but not get the effect of the 2 semitransparent parts adding together Did some searching on the forum and it looks like you could do this in v4 using a rendertarget but we are building in v5 and that does ...

Nested JSON or XML from multiple arrays
Is there a way to create a nested JSON or XML from a couple of Arrays? For example one array is [Name] = Bob, Jim, Berry and another is [Age] = 42, 25, 37 and convert that into something like { "person": [ { "Name": "Bob", "Age": "42" }, { "Name...

3D Masks edge precision
I've noticed that when butting 2 3D Masks together that I tend to get a type of fringing between them.

Re: Advanced Stencils
Götz,
Thanks for the clues. can you elaborate more what the reference is? Is it a grid of 8 bit numbers?

Advanced Stencils
There have been a few posts discussing Advanced Stencils and a scene or 2 showing how to nest Advanced Stencils into a hierarchy. Been doing some research to try and better understand how the Stencil buffer works and would be grateful for a few explained answers. What is the Reference property vs th...
