New Demo Scenes

Attachment: 01_Bump_Mapping.vza

Hello,

we made up a new forum for our users to share their scenes and for us to make up new demo and tutorial scenes. Here we have new demo scenes for you. Download the all the files put them into:

C:\Programs\Ventuz Technology Group\Ventuz\Projects\Ventuz Beta Tutorial 1\Archives
(or C:\Programme\Ventuz ... )

Then you open the tutorial project and import the scenes one by one into this project. (Project -> Import). We hope you like the demo scenes and we are looking forward to get some of yours.

best wishes

P.S. Firefox recognizes the vza as zip file. Please rename the files to .vza and put them in the above location.

Re: New Demo Scenes

Hello djgeenen,

in Ventuz there is the Designer where you can build your scenes, and the presenter where you can "present" your scenes. In the Designer you export your scene for presentation which gives you an vpr file. Double click on that vpr file will open the presenter which is basically a render window where your scene runs along with all input/output options. It is planned that you can distribute your scene along with the presenter and you do not need the Ventuz Designer to run it.

Re: New Demo Scenes
Hi Johannes,

Im a new user of ventuz, and I have tried to use the Demo Scenes to better understand the way the software works.
But unfortunatly it doesn´t work.
I cant import the .vza files. An Error occures with the message: PRJ Error importing Archive Reading zip entries failed. I have checked the forum, renamed the endings..etc., But it still doesnt work. Maybe you have a clue.

thanks a lot

Re: New Demo Scenes
Hi Egbert!

Which VZA files are you referring to? The ones you can download in this thread are all working with the latest Ventuz release. By the way, you don't have to download them anyway. They are already part of the Beta2 Tutorial Project. The ones available in this thread are rather old and might contain outdated nodes.
The demos scenes which are available in the regular Download area on our website cannot be imported in Ventuz. Those are stand-alone presentations that can only be played back with the Ventuz Presenter.
You should download the Tutorial Projects from the Download area. These are complete projects. After running each project installer those projects are available in the Ventuz Projects Browser.

Chris
