Sometimes I also have a string variable connected to the URL node and want to select the file in the text property of the string variable. Therefore my alternate suggestion: Add a button in the text editor (or add a context menu option) that opens a file selector, let's the user select a file and then pastes the full file path into the text editor. If you allow multiple files to be selected at once, this would also be a nice way to collect file names/paths into a text list. Ralph www.framefactory.ch    Report
