Tex[t]Box

Attachment: text5.vza
Hi all,

here's a little textbox I'm working on. It's still very fragile, as changing the size of the base rectangle often leads do missplaced text
and the same is true for changing the inset. Also, I couldn't figure out how to make this system work with different font sizes.

Anyway, I hope you like it

Cheers
Achim

Hello Achim,

nice work. If you want to have different font sizes, you have to scale the text.

regards

Re: Tex[t]Box
Hi Hohannes,

regarding the scaling of the text, the problem was with my implementation of borders, and other automatically calculated values based on the font bounding. I haven't touched the file for a while, but it would for sure be much easier to have a scale option in the font component itself. Now , if I additionally scale the font, I have to use this scaling factor for all other component which depend on the fonts bounding box as well. It's "doable", but a bit cumbersome.
