Subject: AVI Playout doesn't replay mouse events

There seems to be a bug with the playout of interactive scenes. Even if both checkboxes for recording keyboard and mouse events are activated, only keyboard strokes are recorded. The current version (5.16) doesn't record any mouse events (neither moves nor clicks).

Please let me know when you can fix this since I really need the feature for an ongoing production.

My config: Vista 64bit, R5.16 pro (also tested on XP 32bit: same bug)

could not reproduce this here.
Could you send a small demo scene and your Playout profile file?

Hi Karol,

Here you go. The scene contains two clickable objects, the button from the project that failed and a test rect which reacts on mouse over and mouse clicks. Clicking and hovering with both is not recorded. I tried to export to a tif sequence and to an uncompressed RGBA movie, both didn't work.

OK, got it!
It seems that this is related to the MouseOver node or the movements of the mouse are not recorded properly or both.
Don´t have a workaround for you right now.
Will try to fix this for the next update.
