Alpha Blending

Hi,

I working on a project, which required me to input 4 bars on a running background. These bars has round ends, however, in ventuz i need to put a geometry behind the graphic in order to show it (correct me if I am wrong). Hence, in this case, using a rectangle background will show me the black edge at the end of the bars (as shown in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th bar in the diagram).

I tried the alpha blending, which eliminated the black edge (as shown in the first bar in the diagram). However, as u can see, the color of the bar changed (i think it adopt the color of its background), it should be the same color as the 2nd and 4th bar.

How can i removed the black edge but still remain the color? I tried the shape surface, but the outcome is not satisfactory, i cant make the edge look smooth.

Thank you.

Hi Aiyoo

Looks like you just need to put a color in front of the items instead of a material - you're picking up a big specular from the lighting washing the image out.

Cheers
