elotouch?
Hello,

I have one short question. Is this touch screen supported by Ventuz Basic Edition, specially the mouse emulation?

http://www.elotouch.com/Products/LCDs/3239L/

Thanks for support/help.

Henry

Re: elotouch?
Hi Henry,

Ventuz does 'support' all touch panels as long they simulate a standard windows mouse. Almost all available screens or screen-add-ons do that simulation (you'll need to install serial or USB drivers for the screen). We have a native implementation for Panasonic/3M/elotouch protocols on our roadmap to support the additional features of certain touch systems as well (multitouch, pressure, speed, ...) One one the big advantages of a native implementation is that you'll able to connect multiple touch screens to one single Ventuz computer (by using two Matrix TripleHead2Go upto 6 screens)

For now you would need to use the standard mouse nodes of Ventuz. Expect the "interactine Nodes" in Ventuz 2008 during the development phase til end of 2008!

rgds,

Ralf
