But in case of 8800 GTX vs. 9800 GTX this seams not so clear. Please compare the specs and look into the reviews on the web to get some recommendation. We did not compared the peformance of both cards regarding Ventuz. But I think there is no big difference in performance. Best Regards karol    Report

If not, then I would go with the 9800 GTX. Performance-wise theses cards a almost identical. i just bought a system myself and I went with the 8800 GTX, simply because the drivers for those cards are more mature and I know how to handle those cards. For my next card, I will wait for the 9900 GRX (G200) which will be a new card and not just a refresh. It should be available in the 3rd quarter. Not forget that SLI will not help you, so a 9800 GX2 is useless. Krix    Report
