Re: crash with image loader

Hi chriss,

are there any unavailable network mappings on your laptop? The file open dialog may hang if the windows explorer has problems to browse the content of a folder.

Do you have any explorer extensions installed? like ACDSee ?

Please give us more details about that issue.

Thanks and stay tuned,

Ralf

Re: crash with image loader
hi ralf,

i have no mapping to a network folder and no explorer extension. what i don't understand is that if i start ventuz i can open this dialog once, if i try that a second time ventuz hangs.

ahh and dont't spend so many time in that problem: i hope i will get a new laptop soon :-) and i have a workaround: i bind the output of a movie file loader to the file input of the image loader and it works :-). so i have no preview of the image and no crash!!

Re: crash with image loader
Hi all!
Does this happen with any image formats or only with certain formats?
Is there any error message? Please take a look in the designer.log file in the Ventuz installation folder.

Re: crash with image loader
Hi Karol
sorry for my bad english,
I try to use up the solution.

I Rclick on desktop for desktop properties. Click on settings tab and click on display properties button. New window of graphic card settings pop up. And here we see , in main tab, settings of dpi. It is it!
Yesterday I was these settings on 120dpi and image loader crashes, always second time I try to open picture browser.
Today I have these settings on 96dpi and image loader working fine. :)
