Hallo,

These are my first steps on Ventuz. Can somebody give me some tips for better performance? I think I have too much expression in this application. I can’t connect important expression with events. The error text is infinite loop.

PS: I have only the PLE version.

Congratulations for your first Ventuz scene.
But what kind of performance problems do you encounter?
Your scene runs here without any problems! Which hardware do you use?

Thanks for your answers.

Performance is maybe not the right word. I have no visually performance problems, too.
I need more collision-request, to make the scene more dynamic. But I can’t connect the collisions-request-node with the corresponding event. If I do that, I get the error-text “infinity loop”. Maybe I have too many expressions in this scene, or I have too many requests on the collisions-request-node. Is there any limitation in Ventuz.

there is limitation. you cant use result of expression as input to expresion before that result. no feedback.
i dont like this limitation, its possible to solve it only thrue Script, but you have to pay for prefessional (presenter) *-)

if it is the same expression it would result in an infinite loop. or do you mean two seperate expressions? you can combine as many as you wont.

framefactory solve it. you have to put zero Delay between critical binding.
