Stop all animations

Without link nodes I would like to see on next release of Ventuz a button that stops all animations and all events...like a panic or freeze button

For example If  put many movers they automatically starts, without link a keyboard nudge command would be nice to stop everything.

When I minimize the Directx window I noticed that the process that drive this window speed up...the fan of my laptop runs faster and the process boost...why?

Opening again this window the fan stops.......

When I put on the scene videos they automatically start.....why?

Would be better automatically switch the state to stop.

If I stop the videos when the stage window is not at full screen the videos stay stopped, when I switch to full screen the videos automatically play...all together..

Regards

Gabriele

Re: Stop all animations
All movie clip nodes have a property called "AutoActivate", which automatically starts a movie, when you select one from the file open dialog or when the scene is activated. Deactivate the property so Ventuz does not start movies automatically. Add stop commands to your keyframe animation to make sure that movies are always stopped at the beginning of the animation and when they are no longer visible on screen.

Minimizing an application is not the same as exiting it. Ventuz still requires performance. In your case, the power management of your laptop's graphics card probably causes this behaviour or it is just coincidence. Ventuz does not require more performance just because it is minimized.

Re: Stop all animations

Hi Ventuz team

Maybe it would be a good idea to set the "AutoActivate" flag of movies and audio clips to false by default. It would also be more helpful if one would see the parameter immediately (i.e. that it is favorized by default). I often forget the flag when inserting new nodes and as soon as I activate the scene for the next time, I get a nice "Birchermüesli" of sounds as we call this kind of mess here in Switzerland Smile [:)]

Greetz,
Ralph

Re: Stop all animations
Hi all!

The changes have been made. The 'AudoActivate' property for the Movie Clip, Audio Clip, Sound and SoundSource3D nodes now deactivated by default and favorized properties. The changes will be available in the next release.

So no more Birchermüsli!
