Hi, I am a new user of Ventuz and I found it quite interesting. I have developed a small script by which user can assign values to string variables through keyboard during presentation. It’s not complete in all the means, but it will do the basic job. I am still not well equipped with internal object architecture of Ventuz, so this script can behave differently for you. Use "ClearText()" method to initialize the operation and then you can input any string through keyboard at run time. Through "Size" property we can restrict user for fixed length input. I hope this script will be helpful for beginners like me to understand the basic of scripting in Ventuz.

Hi reismack,
thank you for your contribution. This can be useful in some cases indeed. Perhaps you should add the ENTER key as well to enable multi-line text.
Regards karol

Hi Karol,
Thank you for your input. I will try to implement the [Enter] key as well. I am tiger_adnan, reismack is enjoying his annual vacation back home. I think as I am using his system now days that’s why this is posted by his ID. No problem.
Regards,
tiger_adnan
